For four years, I lived and worked in New York City as a staff editor at Fitness. When city life wore me down, I began moonlighting as a freelance travel writer. I spent early mornings at the rail with tobacco-spittin' octogenarian horse trainers in New Orleans; wallpapered the Île Saint-Louis with a Parisian street artist; and attended rehearsals of the renowned Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow.
Needing nature with city life, I moved to Denver where I’m now a full-time freelance journalist.
My stories have appeared in Outside, Esquire, Hemispheres, Women’s Health, Details, Fitness, Shape, Runner’s World, Running Times, and more.
